Participatory Applied Ceramics Program – Çanakkale

An applied ceramic symposium lasting 24 days will be organised by a team consisting of national and international guest artists and student assistants.

One of the main goals of the symposium is to establish a sustainable artistic environment in Çanakkale, a city included in the European Route of Ceramics, where ceramics play a prominent role. Within this framework, ceramic art applications for outdoor settings will be realised.

During the symposium, outdoor firings will be conducted in two kilns with a height of 260 cm. In addition, alternative firings will be conducted in electric and gas kilns of various sizes.
