Between February 5 and 25, 2024, the ÇOMÜ Çanakkale Ceramics Research, Development, and Application Center Art Workshop Guest Artist Program hosted its first group of artists. Within the scope of the program, it is aimed that traditional Çanakkale ceramics will be interpreted by artists working in different styles, leading to the emergence of contemporary works that look to the present and the future from the perspective of the past. The first guests of the program were Prof. M. Ayşe Balyemez, faculty member of the Ceramics and Glass Department, Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSÜ); Assoc. Prof. Müjde Yücel Coşar, faculty member of the Ceramics and Glass Department, Faculty of Fine Arts at ÇOMÜ; and artist Gülfidan Özmen. Solo exhibitions consisting of their works were opened in 2025.

The artist solo exhibition of the 2026 Çanakkale Ceramics Research, Development, and Application Center “International Art Workshop Guest Artist Program,” planned within the structure of CASEM in accordance with the mission of the centre, will be open to the public as part of the symposium.
